Video: Fan walks off with Luke Donald’s golf ball in second round of WGC-Cadillac Championship
If Doral wasn’t already playing hard enough, Luke Donald had to deal with spectators stealing his golf ball from the course.
On Friday, a fan picked up Donald’s ball on the par-5 10th, looked around and walked off with a souvenir. A nearby cameraman informed her “Finders Keepers” doesn’t apply on the golf course, and she returned the ball.
Donald went on to par the hole and was in good spirits after the round.
Really tough day at the office, even had 1 of the spectators try 2 nick my golf ball on the 10th! Luckily thr is always tmr! #82 #Only9back!

After his first round at the newly-remodeled Doral, Donald said, “I’m sure Mr Trump wanted something pretty hard and a test for a World Golf Championships. He wanted something severe but it’s bordering on unfair on a few holes.”
Donald shot a 10-over 82 on Friday with five bogeys, one double-bogey and one triple-bogey.
